The exclusive NytroLite Foam is more buoyant, 3 times lighter, drier and offers better impact protection than conventional foam.
Featuring Nytrolite Foam, a low density polyethylene which is expanded using nitrogen in an exclusive process. The foam is actually 3 times lighter than regular PVC foam and it absorbs 15-20% less water due to the closed cell foam structure. The resulting foam is approximately 10% more buoyant than PVC meaning less foam in each vest whilst maintaining the same buoyancy.
Competition Vests are designed to fit skin tight. They are form fitting and will stretch. If you are used to wearing a loose fitting vest, ski and wake vests will feel much different. They are designed NOT to ride up on you while in the water. When you first zip the vest, it will feel very tight, then loosen up once you are in the water.
